Thomas Soleim Creations

We have had our water feature for a little over two years now, and every year around the tenth of December, it freezes over, and this is the result, bringing me unending inspiration for two years now. :)

This may look photo shopped, but it isn't...other than a little bit on contrast and saturation. Its simpler than it looks. All i did was set the camera to a thirty second shutter speed, allowing light in for 30 seconds. So i clicked the shutter, ran to position one, and while remaining completely still, my sister shined a light on me for about 5 seconds before turning it off. After we had done this for all three positions, this was the result.
This was just another simple trick with the shutter speed. My friend Dustin (a.k.a. the ghost) is playing prince charming in my previous school's play, Cinderella. And me being the sick and twisted individual i am, decided to turn a classic Disney movie into one of that Alfred Hitchcock.
Just me, a timer, and my beautiful baby niece :D
This one was fairly simple as well, all i did was set for high exposure and low shuter speed. All i needed to do to create this effect was zoom in while the shutter was open.
Lincon city. The beaches are warm, and the sunsets give off the perfect chance for HDR opportunities. I took the three shots, but was unsatisfied because it seemed boring. So i decided to design a new fully customizeable feature in GIMP, simply by modding a preexisting filter file that i had no use for. I call the feature/filter, "cray."
My little cousins not wanting their picture taken, so instantly after taking this pic, they began pelting me with mashed potatoes and baby carrots.
Taken with my special macro lens at the Oregon tulip fields.
I set up a motion timing system in this one, meaning i set the camera up to shoot 1.5 sec after it detected motion, i.e. me speeding around the corner.
I was using a high speed video camera, and the shell leaving the chamber of the gun caught the sun and caused a lens flare.

I look into the mirror. I see my reflection. But i may as well be peeping in through someones window, for the eyes staring back at me, are not my own.
